Been a while, I know, lots of fun stuff has happened though. First and foremost, my divorce finally got final!!!! Duh-duh-dah! In February, after over three years, two lawyers for me, four lawyers for him, a custody evaluation, psychological evaluations for us each, four or five mediations, four or five court appearances and thousands of dollars. Now we just have to get our house sold, and we will no longer have any connections beside Adrian, of course.
I'm going back to school this fall, all the way to my Masters!!!!! Majoring in English and Minoring in Art, then off the Disney as a Story Board Artist - my dream job!
I'm now officially a consultant for Close to my Heart, a scrapbooking company, with all levels of scrapbooking, from stamping your own images and cutting and assembling your own pages, to pre-printed layouts with stickers to match, to Studio J, a site where you create your own pages with pictures embelishments and all, and then CTMH prints them out and mails them to you. Lots of funa and skill levels, if your interested in learning more, lemme know, I'll probably start posting some of my work here too.
Adrian is four, and ever blooming, he can make his own peanut butter and jelly sandwich, (I still can't get over that) and we are having really in depth conversations, (already had the Where-do-babies-come-from? convo) I can't believe how much and how quickly kids grow!!!!
I hope all of you are having a great Memorial Day weekend! I think I'm doing oretty good, Adrian is with his dad, I'm assuminng they are camping in Bear Lake, but I never actually know. So Sat I hung out with friends hiking, eating, and watching fireworks put on by a local mortuary, which was really quite nice. They had bleachers and a huge block of American flags all in rows. They had music to acompany the firework show, and then did a 21 gun salute, and played taps afterwords. It was a fun experiance, and I was with good friends! Then Sun was the first BBQ of the season with family for my brothers girlfriends birthday, and today is full on scrapbooking, and movies! *sigh* I get Adrian back tonight! Yay! Yay! Yay!
