Looking for someplace FANTASTIC to eat?

Adrian and I went to the Okkurh Mountain Temple Open House last friday night with a group of friends. (Pictures of that will follow as soon as I get them from my friends camera). It was eight thirty at night, we were in South Jordan and HUNGRY. My friend Chirelle said "Oh Zupas we HAVE to go there!" YUM! It was so good. It is a gourmet soup, salad, and sandwich shop. I got a turkey and artichoke sandwich and lobster bisque.
This is Adrian's dinner grilled cheese and fruit. It was a trick to get him to eat it because he thought the bread looked weird, but I creativly got him to eat it by tring to feed it to other parts of his body, his ears, his feet, his elbow, etc until I finally asked "You're mouth?" It worked brillantly (and still does).
He is so FUNNY and GREAT to have around!!! Adrian loves to pose for pics! (Usually)
Root beer, a rare treat, and Adrian's favorite. I usually get him juice or milk.
Since we were trying a new restaurant, I decided let's try the full extent of the menu, plus Adrian saw the display of the fondue pot and REALLY wanted it. So we splurged. So worth it! Youe HAVE to check out Zupas if you ever see one in your travels. (It is a bit more expensive than a fast food restaurant, but not as pricey as a dine in place.)

WSU FiReWoRkS!!!!

Thousands of people, a patchwork of blankets covering the lawn. Cannons firing, fireworks blazing, and the orchestra plays on. Just a few of the elements of one of my fav summer traditions. The firework celebration at Weber State, it is always the Sunday before Pioneer Days and it is always a blast!

It sprinkled a bit, so we took cover underneath one of the blankets, thankfully it was sparse and short lived.
He was tired and un-cooperative at this point.

I experimented with a slow shutter speed for the fireworks. The results, I think are worth it!!!
