My little Adrian decided he didn't want to lay down in bed. I sleep on a fold out couch bed for the time being, so he climbed on top of the couch part, and quickly fell asleep. He plays hard, and so he sleeps hard too. I love being a mom. Adrian brings me so much joy and so many surprises. A few weeks ago, after I had gotten Adrian out of the bath and was drying him off, I said to him "Adrian, you're getting so big." He looked at me with his big brown eyes and asked "Why", I continued to dry him off, "Well, because that's what little boys do. They grow up. One day, you'll be as big as mommy and as daddy." Adrian looked at me, his eyes round and huge he took a deep breath and said "And then I'll get to drive?!" With amazement and awe coloring his little voice. I could barely keep from laughing! "Yes" I said, and then you'll get to drive." Come on! What three year thinks of that??? He is all boy, and I may have a car buff on my hands.
