Christmas

We had a fantastic Christmas this year. It was amazing to see Christmas through Adrian's eyes. We started off with our traditional Christmas Eve Party - Dinner and a gift pass around. All of the sibs and their siginifcant others sit in a circle, and we pass around gift cards wrapped in bags as our mom reads "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and my dad takes pictures. This year Adrian sat in my lap and took part. He ate it up! He thought it was the funnest things ever, we spent most of our time laughing with him as we passed the gifts to the left on the word "and" and to the right on the word "the".

After I finally got Adrian to bed, (around 10pm) I stayed up and put together his big gift - a two sided kitchen with an indoor kitchen (sink, fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc on one side, and a "propane" grill on the other side. He spends most of his time grilling. I had more fun watching Adrian open his gifts than I did opening my own. I absolutely love that being a parent has helped me see life from a new angle and with a new appreciation!
